Tree Amigos was founded in 2017 by Andrew Anstrom and Austin McCoy — two Austin-born arborists who'd spent a decade watching the city outgrow its tree care.

So they started something different: a crew where the certified arborist who quotes the job is the same one who runs the job. Where every recommendation is science-based. Where the work is led by people who actually love trees.
